Election Day - No School
Tuesday, November 5, is election day, and St. Rita School will be closed. Faculty and staff members will be joining Fr. Tiano for a faculty retreat day at OLMC. On election day or before, please make the time to vote. As Catholics we vote because we are citizens. As Catholic citizens we need to remember three things: respect for the dignity of each person, focus on the common good, and we have a responsibility to participate in the civic life of our nation. To better understand how to respond to our choices in this current political landscape, the United States Conference on Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has a wonderful teaching document called Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizens.
